Little Alien

Never has an alien spent so much energy searching for a reason NOT to destroy earth.
Logline:
Isyrus (Lucas Bates) appeared out of nowhere just outside the town of Little, Nevada. He got his name off the milk carton, a job at the convenience store, and carries a mysterious 21-day countdown clock.  He meets Noah, a child with no future who helps him figure out if there is anything on Earth worth saving.
Synopsis:
An “alien”, Isyrus, has arrived and his mission is to decide if the planet Earth should continue to exist.
He lands in Little Nevada, population  986.
He meets Noah at the motel.  Noah, who lives with his aging grandma while his father and mother battle for custody of him.  He almost never tells the truth, even simple things become fabricated with him.  Noah’s grandma runs the bed and breakfast and he works extra hard to keep it running.
It is this relationship between Isyrus and Noah that builds over the days that follow as Isirus becomes the missing influence and guide in Noah’s life. He teaches him to fight, helps with the motel, and gives him a real personal connection.  In the spirit of their new friendship, Isyrus tells Noah the purpose of his visit to Earth.
Noah teaches Isyrus about humans and their interactions. However, the most important lesson is that humans are a triumph of potential.  A race that is willing to be wrong so often and still keep going, is one of unlimited ability to do something.  He just can’t figure out what.
Isyrus makes three mistakes a century and must decide if changing his recommendation on Earth should be one. Will Noah lose his planet and his best friend?
